Title: PAWS (Partner Accountability with Students)
My students and I are excited about being able to start our class project. My students love the idea of helping each other. My students will be paired off into pairs. Each pair will have daily time to discuss concepts and assist when needed each day. I will meet with the pairs on Fridays to make sure that things are going according to plan. I will keep updating my blog as we go along and share some great things that are going on in my classroom. Stay tuned for the first response once we get started on Monday, September 14th. :)

I think that your class project will be great! I believe that students need to be held more accountable for their learning. I can't wait to hear more. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow Allison!! I know what you mean about the excitement the children are showing. Since I am "borrowing" some students I only meet with them three days a week, but they are wanting to meet every day! I love the enthusiasm they are showing already. I hope all goes well tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHow did your first day go with your project? I am having my class to respond each day in their journals so I can see how each student feels about the project. Some were positive and some were negative but it is getting better. Hope yours goes great!
