Journal responses from students on project

Here are a few journal responses from the students in my classroom. I am attaching them as a picture. I have not had much luck with attaching videos and pictures so let's see if this is going to work. I hope you enjoy reading these responses!

    Allison, sometimes this can be a little tricky. I think you may be in the “Edit HTML” window instead of the “Compose” window with all the tools. On blogger, the post window has two tabs -- “Edit HTML” and “Compose.” Be sure you are in the “Compose” window. This will give you the tools to upload pictures and video. If you still have question, email me at jhidalgo@aum.edu. and I will send you screen shots.

    Allison, I am having similar problems posting my slide shows. Other than that, the project is going great and I will be glad when I work out the problems so that I can share it with you guys.

    I obviously need screen shot as well Joan :)! I can not get my slideshow to work either. At least I did get my pictures posted! Oh well, I have it saved and will continue to try and figure it out. We are having a blast as well. The children love being in their leadership roles as the welcoming committee so very much! I just wish we had longer and more frequent meeting times.

    I love the video... the students make it all seem so real! I can tell from a teacher of 6th grade students; children of all ages want to help others as well as being helped by others. No matter how old they are and how cool they want to be!

    I have tried to post a copy of a rubric that I made but have not figured out yet how to make it work. Everytime I copy and paste, it copies but not right-it is all shifted and not in the correct cells anymore-actually all the cells are gone. I have also tried to post copies of covers of the different versions of the book. It will not copy as a picture because it is not a "picture" it is on a document but it will not post as a document because it is not a "document". Any suggestions????

    Bad News/Good News: You cannot upload any file other than a picture. There is an easy work around -- scan it and save as a picture. Then upload as you would any other picture. Another option would be to upload your file to an online hosting service and link to it. There are many that are free. Do a Google search and you will get a zillion hits.
